Clara is the daughter of David Franklin & Mary Elizabeth (Whitsell) Foltz. She married Ray Perry Dyer about 1910 in Vermillion County, Indiana.

Clara V. Dyer, 75, Dies Tuesday After 3-Months'Illness
Mrs. Clara V. Dyer, 75, of route 2, Clinton, died at the Vermillion County Hospital Tuesday evening at 7:05 p.m. following an illness of three months.
A former school teacher, Mrs. Dyer was born in Clinton township, where she lived her entire life, the daughter of David and Mary E. Whitsell Foltz, and was a member of the Edwards Chapel U.B.Church in New Goshen.
Surviving are two sons, David D. of Ft Knox, Ky., and Clarence R. of R.R.2, Clinton and Eva Bredsoe of Indianapolis; four brothers Samuel Foltz of Greenfield, Ky., Verna of Van Wert, Ohio, Laurin of Clinton and John of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Frist Funeral Home with Rev. Luke J. Martin officiating. Burial will be made in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday.
