Wavelene Arnett, 85, of North Baltimore, died on December 26, 2007 at her residence. She was born on March 12, 1922 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Walter C. and Rosa (Hiestand) Fogleman. She married Cletius S. Arnett on January 22, 1941 and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2006. Wavelene was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Baltimore where she was active in the Martha's Circle, Wingston Grange, North Baltimore Senior Citizens and Red Hat Society. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce E. Metzler of Findlay and Joanne M. Liep of North Baltimore; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were sisters, Velma Anderson and Carrie Bromagon. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2007 at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Baltimore, with Reverend Ralph Mineo officiating. Burial will be in Wingston Cemetery, Rudolph, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, in her memory.
