Mary Flynn, 81, was born on March 24, 1927, on the farm near Glasco, KS. She died on November 26, 2008 in Lewisville, Texas. Over the years, Mary traveled a great deal before settling down in Oklahoma City in 1949. She worked at Tinker AFB, FAA, and then retired from Hertz Data Center in 1996. Active in the Coronado Club, she met and married Pat Flynn in 1955. She enjoyed playing bridge and bowling. She was a devoted wife, a hard worker, and a fantastic mother and grandmother. After an 18-month battle with cancer, which she fought with grace and courage, she left this world peacefully to be with her Lord. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Pat Flynn 2 daughters and families, Janet and John Steuber, Columbia, MO, Julie and Jason Lane, Flower Mound, TX 11 grandchildren brother, Jim Hurley, Beloit, KS and sister, France Cooper, Las Vegas, NV. Viewing and Rosary will be Sunday, November 30, 2008, at 7 pm, at Smith & Kernke on NW 23 St., OKC. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 1, 2008, at 10:00 am, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, OKC. Interment will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society .
