Vergie [sic Virgie] L. Flynn, 77, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at Golden Rule Nursing Home, Shawnee, Okla. She was a native of Kime, Mo., and former resident of Loranger.
She is survived by a son, Kevin Flynn of
Highlandville, Mo.; a sister, Ruth Rachels of Missouri; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Flynn; her parents, Frank and Katie Elder Marler; a sister, Cassie Sell; and three brothers, Leonard [sic Lenard] Marler, Louie Marler and Willard Marler.
The Rev. Michael Smith conducted the funeral Saturday at Gaskell-Owens Funeral Home Chapel in Shawnee. A graveside service will be held 4:30 p.m. Monday at Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery, Loranger. Harry McKneely & Son is in charge of local arrangements.
