The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until service time beginning 1:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Newsom Funeral Home in Charleston, MS. Interment to follow in Goshen Cemetery, Oakland, MS.
Barbara was retired from the State of Mississippi Health Department with twenty-five years plus of service. She was a very family-oriented lady and an avid gardener.
Those whom she leaves behind to forever cherish her memory include her daughter, of Eads, TN; two grandchildren, one sister, of Charleston, MS; two brothers, one of Grenada, MS; and one of Charleston, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Fike, parents Joe Fly Sr & Minnie Calder Fly and four brothers Joe A. Fly Jr, Marion Fly, Bob Fly & Keith Fly. Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen Cemetery Fund.
