ORANGE- Anna M. "Ann" (Zebrowski) Floyd, 87, formerly of 12 Adams Street, died on Thursday evening, June 4th at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Healthcare- Campus, Worcester, following an illness.
Born on June 23, 1921 in the Thorndike section of Palmer, she was a daughter of Albert and Katherine (Mrozka) Zebrowski and grew up in Palmer.
She married Earl H. Floyd in 1946 and they moved to Orange.
While living in Palmer, she had worked for Pratt & Whitney and the W. T. Grant Company. Anna later went to work at the Erving Paper Mill for 42 years, retiring in 1989.
A member of St. Mary's Church in Orange, she also belonged to the St. Mary's Women's Club, the Erving Paper 25th Quarter Club, and enjoyed cooking, reading, tag sales but most of all, her nephews and nieces.
Survivors include her brothers, Joseph Zebrowski of Palmer and Theodore Zebrowski of Connecticut; sister in law Edwina Zebrowski of Northampton; many nephews and nieces; and very good friends, Richard and Maryann Herk of Orange.
Anna was predeceased by her husband, Earl Floyd in 1971, sisters, Victoria Doktor and Mary Ann Zebrowski, and brothers, Walter, John, Stanley, Peter, and Albert "Buddy" Zebrowski.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral services and interment in South Cemetery, Orange, will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is directing the arrangements.
