The Bryan County native lived in Bulloch County most of her life and was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Meeks of Pembroke and Mrs. Ray Brisendine and Mrs. Homer Miller, both of Statesboro; three sons, Carl B. Nesmith and Lamar Nesmith, both of Statesboro, and Calvin C. Nesmith of Pembroke; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Murphy of Statesboro and Mrs. Bonello Owens of Pembroke; a brother, Freeman Floyd of Pembroke; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 3 p.m. today at Eastern Heights Baptist Church, burial in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro. Barnes-Hodges Funeral Home of Statesboro.
