SMYRNA, GA -- Charlie (Charles L.) Floyd, 44, who died Friday, May 14, 1976, at Smyrna Hospital after a brief illness was buried Saturday, May 15 in Kennesaw Memorial Park in Smyrna.
Mr. Floyd was an Alabama native and a self-employed grating contractor.
The burial followed services at 3:00 p.m. at Castellaw Funeral Home Chapel, Nelms Masonic Lodge 323 of Smyrna held graveside services.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lessie M. Floyd of Smyrna; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Kroeger of Smyrna; a son, Chuck Floyd of Smyrna; his mother, Mrs. Roxie Burns Floyd of Piedmont, AL; five sisters, Mrs. Edna Kiser and Mrs. Marie Kiser, both of Piedmont, AL, Mrs. Carolyn Harris of Jamestown, N.Y., Mrs. Jeanette Kisor of Rome, GA, and Mrs. Brenda Grimes of Jacksonville, FL; six brothers, Howard Floyd of Weaver, David Floyd of Mapleton, GA, Edwin Floyd of Centre, AL, William Floyd of Marietta, GA, Gene Floyd of Piedmont, and Larry Floyd of Piedmont; and one grandchild. Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his father, James H. Floyd.
