Daughter of the late Dr. J.E. and Myrtle Summerford Marsh, she was the widow of Avalon Thurxton "Buck" Flowers. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Moultrie, GA. She was survived by sons, Thomas Marsh (Connie) and Ernest Flowers; brothers, William Marsh and Plyde Marsh; sister, Joan Marsh Rice; two grandchildren, Brian Flowers and David Flowers; three great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives. Her funeral was held on April 5, 2006, with The Rev. B.J. Funk officiating.
