Services for Clara Pauline Flowers, 95, of Thomasville, are at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tim Robson will officiate, and interment will be at Greenfield Cemetery in Colquitt County.
Mrs. Flowers died Oct. 15, 2010, in Thomasville. Born April 12, 1915, she was a daughter of the late William Harvey and Loma Edwards McLeroy. She was married to Darvin Lee Flowers Sr., who preceded her in death. Mrs. Flowers was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith. She was a foster grandparent at Southwestern State Hospital for more than 20 years.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy F. and D. R. Lawhorn of Thomasville; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy H. and Helen Flowers of Seale, Ala.; daughter, Loma Sue Bryant of York, Penn.; son and daughter-in-law, Darvin Lee Jr. and Charlotte J. Flowers of Morven; daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Kenneth Kelly of Thomasville; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, John McLeroy, Ralph McLeroy and Bill McLeroy, and sister, Susie Hart.
