Death: Sep. 24, 1908

O. Nathan Flowers pension, on line in Georgia virtual vault confirms his birth date and unit.
He served in Company H of the 50th Ga. Regt Sims Brigade. At the battle of Chancellorsville, Va. in May 1963, he had his left thumb shot off. One witness said the bullet also enter his left side.
