JESUP -- Maggie Flowers Lane, 81, died May 7 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. The Wayne County native was a member of Jesup Church of God of Prophecy. She was a homemaker and the widow of Arvel E. Lane.

SURVIVORS: two sisters, Grace Scott of Odum and Sadie Flowers of Jesup; two brothers, Perry Flowers and Bill Flowers, both of Jesup; and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jesup Church of God of Prophecy, burial in Little Creek Cemetery. -Savannah Now, Jan 2000
