Norma R. Flora-Angle, 83, of Pleasant Hill and formerly of Covington, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 in the Kettering Hospital.
Norma was born April 23, 1925, in Gettysburg to the late Grover and Mary Frances (Wade) Kelley. She graduated in 1944 from Palestine High School. She was a homemaker and was previously employed by Andy's Garden Center and Getner's Greenhouses in Piqua. She enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds and being a grandma. She was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Covington District, Covington.
She will be missed and remembered by her husband, Luther Eugene Angle of Pleasant Hill; children and their companions, Jane and Dean Yoder of Pleasant Hill; Gerald and Cathy Flora of Covington; Robert and Cindy Flora of Piqua; son-in-law, Thomas Graham of Piqua; step-children and their companions, Don and Jackie Angle of Covington; Mary Jane and Gary Denlinger of Brookville; Frieda and Randy Garber of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren, Rodney Yoder of Celina; Greg Yoder of Wakarusa, Ind.; Eric Yoder of Pleasant Hill; Angie Mwangi of Pleasant Hill; Brad Flora of Covington; Jennifer Flora of Troy; Jason Flora of Troy; Jerry Flora of Piqua; step-grandchildren, Seth Angle of Covington; Sally Crist of Mission Valley, Mont.; Joe Angle of Covington; Dave Angle of Covington; Paula Flory of Troy; Patty Wolf of Camden, Ind.; Missy Brubaker of Germantown; Robin Yost of Camden, Ind.; Dana Wise of Quinter, Kan.; Garret Garber of Pleasant Hill; Grant Garber of Pleasant Hill; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, sisters, Nova Rogers of Covington; Lois Flora of Manteca, Calif.; sister-in-law, Ida Mae Kelley of Palestine; brother-in-law, Wilford Sink of Pleasant Hill; extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Paul R. Flora in 1991, daughter, Naomi Graham in 2000, sisters, Margaret Aten, Pauline Winmiller, Marcella Sink, brothers, Donald Kelley, Eldean Kelley, John Kelley and Eugene Kelley.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Covington, with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will take place in the Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.
Calling hours will be held from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday in the Pearson-Jackson Funeral Home, 10 South High St., Covington.
