Daughter of John and Amelia (Brahler) Perry. On May 16th 1947, she married Goethe Flock in Denver, Colorado . She worked at O'Connor Drug and also helped at the North Platte Canteen during World War II. She and Goethe owned and operated Shamrock Liquors for many years. Jean was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and a sixteen year member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, gardening, and going to the Cornhuskers football games.
Survivors include her daughter Susie Flock of North Platte; two brothers, Bob (Sarah) Perry of Willis, Texas and Jack (Sylvia) Perry of Hazard, Nebraska; a niece, Rosemary (Darrell) Pueppka of North Platte; a nephew, Bob (Alma) Flock of North Platte; a great-niece Nancy Flock of North Platte and other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a daughter, Nancy Jo Flock.
