Colleen Joyce Flitton, age 66, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2001 at her home. She was born Oct. 3, 1934 in Salt Lake City, UT, a daughter of James David and Bessie Lucille Flynn Moore. She married Donald James Flitton Oct 6, 1952 in Elko, NV. She was raised in Salt Lake City and graduated from West High School. She had lived in Kaysville for 13 years. Colleen was active in the LDS Church with Primary, Cub Scouts and was a visiting teacher. She enjoyed being with her family, floral arranging, quilting, crocheting, camping, travel and music. She is survived by her husband, Donald; four sons, Daniel J. (Christine) Flitton, Salt Lake City, Jerry L. (Robyn) Flitton, South Jordan, Jeffery L. (Natalie) Flitton, Farmington, Christopher J. (Yvonne) Flitton, West Jordan; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Diane (Carl) Gustason, Salt Lake City, Janice (Lyle) Stocks, West Valley City; and one brother-in-law, Donald Peck, Sandy. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Marilyn Peck. Services will be 2 p.m. Wed. March 21, 2001 at the Kaysville LDS Spencer Ward chapel, 500 S. Main. Viewing will be Tues. 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main and Wed. 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the church. The family thanks Dr. Riley and Kara at the Salt Lake Clinic and staff at LDS Hospital. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
