Obituary - Our loving "Mama", "Granma" and friend, Arvilla W. Steed Flint, age 94, passed away peacefully January 24, 1991, in Salt Lake City.
"Billie" was born February 27, 1896, in Farmington, Utah to John Wesley and Margaret Eliza Corbet Workman. She married Rulon Lee Steed on June 3, 1917; later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1938. She then married John Clifton Flint on June 28, 1941, at Farmington, Utah who also preceded her in death on October 11, 1975.
Member of American Legion Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. Active member of the LDS Church, Ivins Ward, Wells Stake holding many positions of service over the years. Avid hunter and fisherwoman, she spent many an hour with her family in the outdoors. She had a beautiful singing voice and was well known for this talent. We'll miss you "Billie".
Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lorin (Bonnie) Jamison, St. George; Jackie S. Lee, Salt Lake City; stepson, Larry (and Margie) Flint, Long Beach, California; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two daughters and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 31st, 11 a.m., at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, where friends may call Wednesday, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and on Thursday for one hour prior to the services. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
