June 5, 2012 Flint, George W. June 05th 2012 George Willard Flint III, a resident of Plainville for several years and formerly a resident of Norwood and Westwood, died Monday, June 4, 2012 at his home in Plainville. He was 69. George was born March 4, 1943 in Norwood, Massachusetts, the only son of George W. and Pauline (Allenspacker) Flint. He was the brother of the late Susan Carr, and is survived by his two other sisters, Linda McClelland of Fairfax, Virginia, and Diane Hardy of Nottingham, New Hampshire; and his two nieces, Ashley Hardy of Nottingham, New Hampshire, and Karen Fowle of Silver Spring, Maryland. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, June 7th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street (Route 109), Westwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend George's funeral Friday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home followed by burial in the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery on Baker Street in West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to Lifeworks, 789 Clapboardtree Street, Westwood, Ma 02090 would be appreciated.
