Katelyn M. "Katie" Flick, 18, Flinton, died Tuesday at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born in Clearfield, daughter of Richard and Karen (Martin) Flick. Surviving are her parents: Karen Flick and companion, Ronny Ball, of Flinton and Richard Flick and wife, Sheila, of Utahville; a brother, Anthony James Flick in Montana; a sister, Christina Renee Flick and fiance, James Selvage, of Houtzdale; two stepbrothers: Kenny and Tommy Leigey; two stepsisters: Holly Ball and Emily N. Flick; a grandmother, Mabel Flick of Utahville; and a nephew, Dawson Selvage of Houtzdale. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Larry Martin Sr.; a grandmother, Lois C. (Hutton) Martin; and a grandfather, Lewis Flick. Katie was a senior at Glendale High School and the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center Nursing School, where she was a National Technical honor student. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009, and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2009, at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Joe Hollen officiating. Interment at Utahville Cemetery.
