Myrtle Foxworth, 76, of Nashville Georgia died March 27, 2004 at South Georgia Medical
Center in Valdosta. Born August 29, 1927 in Tift Co. to the late Ernest and Annie Bell Jackson
Fletcher, she was a homemaker and member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. She was
married to the late Fred Dix and the late Willlie L. Foxworth.

Survivors include four daughters, Ernestine Dix Gaskins and Joan Foxworth Sirmans, both of
Nashville, Freddie Ann Dix Bostic and Charlotte Foxworth, both of Adel; one son,
Lt. Col. (Chaplain) Randall Foxworth, US Army, Germany, two step-daughters,
Betty Foxworth Watson of Albany and Fannie Foxworth Fletcher of Nashville, one brother, Frank
Fletcher of Nashville; 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held March 30 at 4 p.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church
with the Revs. Mickey Lindsey and Gary James officiating. Interment was in Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dewade Bostic, Brad Bostic, Jonathan Bostic, Stanley Gaskins,
Leamon Foxworth, Randy Coleman.
