Mrs. Bays was born July 8, 1917 in Northern Virginia and was a member of the Braddock Street United Methodist Church in Winchester. VA. She had retired from John E. Higgins Dental Office after 17 1/2 years.
Mrs. Bays is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John E. Bays Jr and wife, Elaine, of Roanoke, Wayne A. Bays and wife, Debbie, of Johnson City, TN; a sister, Roberta Taylor, of Richmond; and also a dedicated friend and caregiver, Lou Persinger.
A graveside service Will be held Wednesday, July, 6, 2005, at Evergreen Burial Park at 2 p.m. with Dr. Dan Scott officiating.
