Graveside services for Cleve J Fleming, 92 of Boise, who died Thursday at a Boise nursing home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Morris Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Don Ian Smith of the Hillview Methodist Church. The cortege will leave the Alden-Waggoner Chapel at 10:15 a.m.
Mr. Fleming was born Sept. 27, 1879, at Howard Lake, Minn., and moved west with his family in 1891. He lived in Oregon and Washington before settling in Nyssa. He married Elsie V Mayse on October 2, 1905, at Nampa and the couple farmed in the Nyssa-Ontario area for several years. In 1919, they moved to the Boise Valley and had lived there since. He worked as a carpenter in his later years. His wife died in October, 1966. A son, Walter, died in 1934.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Patricia) Cantwell of Boise, Mrs. Jacqueline Sherman of Spokane and Mrs. Ray (Bernice) Smit of Napa, Calif.; five sons, Leo Fleming of Burley, Dwight Fleming of Nampa, and Ivan Fleming, Chester Fleming and Don Fleming all of Boise; 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
