Mary Frances Crawford, age 75, Corder, died on Saturday, Nov 24, 2012 at the I-70 Community Hospital in Sweet Springs.

Born Sunday, Feb 28, 1937 in Slater, she was the daughter of Marvin Fizer and Frances (Tennil) Fizer. She married Frankie Crawford on Jan 9, 1955.

Mrs. Crawford worked as a seamstress at the Frances Gee Garment Factory, retiring in 1980 and lived in Corder since 1959. She was a 1954 graduate of Marshall High School and member of the Concordia Baptist Church.

Preceded in death are her parents; two brothers, George Fizer and Dean Fizer; and one sister, Alice Mae Taylor.

Surviving are her husband, Frankie Crawford of the home in Corder; two sons, Danny (Jackie) Crawford of Concordia, Randy (Lutecia) Crawford of Corder; two sisters, Deloris Plymell of Richmond and Nancy Roepe of Odessa; seven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov 28, at the Concordia Baptist Church, 406 W. 1st St. with the Rev. Derek Steinmuller officiating. Interment in the Calvary Cemetery, Corder.

The family received friends from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Hoefer Funeral Home in Higginsville. The family suggests memorial to the Concordia Calvary Cemetery Association.

Pallbearers are Jeffrey Crawford, Darrel Crawford, Daniel Crawford, George Richey, David Limback, Matt Brewe and Tim Doak.
