Mary Daisy Fite Ballew, 90, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Monday, January 9, 2006, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A private memorial service was held. Arrangements were handled by Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
Daisy was born February 28, 1915, in Sparkman, Arkansas, to a Dora Alice (Everett) and Joseph Payton Fite. She grew up and attended school in Nunley, Arkansas. She married Wm. However, she considered the true joys and rewards in her life to be her three daughters, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her and her chicken-and-dumplings.
