Mr. Ernest William Fisher age 84 of Waynesville, passed away Sunday May 27, 2012 at MedWest Haywood. He was born in Jackson County to the late Lorenzo and Alley Pearl Mills Fisher. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son William Lee Earl Fisher; brother Lester Fisher; sisters Lucille Shuler and Cora Crawford. Mr. Fisher worked for 35 years at Lea Industries, and worked in security at Dayco and Haywood Community College. He was a hard worker, spending time in his garage and garden. He enjoyed fishing and watched wrestling and game shows. He loved his family, especially his girls.
Survivors include his three daughters, the mother of his children, a brother, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be in the chapel of Garrett Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
