FISHER RITES – CHESTERTON – Funeral services for Henry Fisher, 57, of 314 S 11th St., who died of an apparent heart seizure Wednesday while at work in Gary, will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Carl Edmonds Funeral Home.
The Rev. James L. Andrews will officiate, with burial at Chesterton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Chesterton, of which he was a member or to the County Heart Association.
Born Dec 21, 1917 in Raytown, Tenn., he was a son of James and Ida Mae (Keller) Fisher. Survivors include his widow, Margaret Marie; two sons, Paul of Muncie and David of Chesterton; a brother, James of Chesterton; two sisters, Elizabeth Babcock and Evelyn Brocksmith, both of Chesterton, and three grandchildren.
He was employed at Gary Tube Works of United States Steel, and was a member of American Legion Post 170 of Chesterton. He was a veteran of World War II.
