He was married late in life and very happily to his beloved Irmgard for more than 25 years.
Kurt's warmth, intelligence, humor and strength of spirit were totally evident, even in his last moments. He was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include: sister-in-law, Erna Cahn; her daughter, Carol Jean Cahn Gold; nieces Evie Hommel, Eva Bellar, Ann Doran and Maya Engel; and nephews, Steven Cahn and Frank and Andrew Fischer.
