She was born on Jan. 16, 1917, in Pendleton, to George W. and Mary J. (Bowen) Hallowell.
Martha graduated from Markleville High School in 1934.
She had been active in 4-H and was a member of the Pendleton Order of Eastern Star Chapter 138.
She is survived by a daughter, Marcia (Fisher) Neely of Pendleton; three grandchildren, Tim Fisher, Shelby Neely, and Shelaine Neely; three great-grandchildren, Payton Fisher, Chase Fisher, and Katie Neely; and a niece, Wanda (Hallowell) Lineberry.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Fisher; a son, Jim Fisher; a brother, Edward Hallowell; and two nephews, George and David Hallowell.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Main St., Lapel, with the Rev. John Randall III officiating. Burial will follow in Grovelawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Madison County 4-H Youth Programs.
