Clarence R. Fisher, aged 57, died yesterday morning at 6:45 o'clock at the residence, Apartment 16, Elizabeth Park. His death was attributed to a heart attack. He was a native of Cambridge, Md., and had resided in Norfolk 15 years. He was a son of the late Sidney Fisher and Mrs. Melissa Fisher. He had been employed as a barge captain by the Southern Transportation Company for a number of years.
Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Lee Fisher; two sons, Clarence R. Fisher, Jr. and Norman Fisher of Norfolk; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Henderson of New York and Mrs. Mildred Dennis of Torrence, Calif.; a brother, Walter Fisher of Carney, N.J.; and Mrs. Ruth Culber, of Philadelphia.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne road. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
