CHILLICOTHE - Timothy L. Fisher, 43, of 113 N Leonard Drive, Chillicothe, Ill., died at 4:58 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born Monday, March 2, 1964, in Peoria, Ill., the son of Charles L. Fisher and Marie F. (Janovetz) Kasky. He married Annette S. Mitchell on Oct. 8, 1988, in East Peoria, Ill. She survives.
Surviving are his wife, Annette Fisher of Chillicothe; one daughter, Whitney Mitchell of Peoria; one son, Mitch Fisher of Chillicothe; and one grandson, Ryan Rusk of Peoria. Also surviving are his parents, Marie Kasky of Chillicothe and Charles (Bonnie) Fisher of The Villages, Fla.; two brothers, Thomas (Marti) Fisher and Jerry Fisher; and one stepsister, Debbie (Brian) Ochetti.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff and Jim.
He worked for Riverside Chevrolet in Chillicothe. He also worked part time at The Dugout in Chillicothe helping with the summer softball leagues.
He was a past board member and member of the Peoria Casting Club and George Washington Masonic Lodge 222 of Chillicothe. He was a member of the Tuesday night men's league at the Chilli Bowl in Chillicothe.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe. The Rev. Glen H. Harris will officiate. A luncheon will follow at The Dugout, 22122 N. Route 29 in Chillicothe. Cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral Mass. Inurnment will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, in the Chillicothe City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Mitch Fisher Educational Fund at Commerce Bank or to Rescue 33.
