A funeral service celebrating the life of Charles E. “Charlie” Fischbach IV, 24, Lanesville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015.
He was born in New Albany and was a certified welder. He was an avid Bow Hunter and member of the Archery Association. He loved all sports, especially football, basketball and baseball. Charlie was a Boy Scout and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Clarksville.
Survivors include his mother, Rhonda King Fischbach; his father, Mark A. Fischbach; a son, Jacob Fischbach; his brother, Dylan Fischbach; grandparents, Dolores and Raymond King; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles E. Fischbach III and Lucy “Nanny” Fischbach.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with the funeral expenses and establishing a trust fund for Jacob.
