Velma Mae Firestone Biltz, 94, passed away April 16, 2007, in her daughter's residence in Muncie, after a short illness.
She was born June 28, 1912. in Syracuse, to Ray and Nora Mock Firestone. On June 14, 1930, she married Elmer Biltz, who is waiting for her in heaven.
She enjoyed most of her life being a homemaker and a farmer's wife.
Leaving to remember her are a son, Ray (and wife Janet) Biltz, Warsaw; a daughter, Mrs Don (Carole) Whitehead, Muncie; a sister, Mona Byrd, Syracuse; grandchildren, Bob, Alan, Valeria, Eileen, Brian, Annette and Carla; great-grandchildren, Kindra, Whitney, Weston, Vanessa, Jason, Jennifer, Kristen, Ryan, Amanda, Natalie, Branden and Aaron; great-great-grandchildren, John, Ashland, Oscar and Briley; and many special nieces, nephews and friends. Also waiting for her in heaven are her parents; a brother, Elyra, two sisters, Katherine Kline and Vera White; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 2pm Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, warsaw, with Pastor Bill Wafoner of Friends Memorial Church, officiating.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
