John A. Fioretta of 2865 Camellia Drive, Alexandria, Va., died Saturday, Oct. 11, in the home of his nephew, Robert Fioretta of Catasauqua, where he had been recently residing.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Alexandria for 16 years until retiring.
He was a 20-year Army veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater until retiring as a staff sergeant, 1st class, in 1958. He received the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Stars.
Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late John and Viola (Endrizzi) Fioretta.
Survivors: Nephew and nieces.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Fierro Funeral Home, 26 W. 2nd St., Hazleton; Mass at 11 a.m., Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Hazleton.
