He is survived by his wife, Gladys; four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Allen of Sandwich, Mrs Donna Seldal of DeKalb, Mrs. Marian Pembroke of Springfield and Mrs. Judith Swanson of Lakeville, Minn; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Esther Rumps, Bertha Eike, Edith Halverson and Blanche Johnson; and one brother, Ingmond Finnestad, all of Dekalb.
