WEST PARK--Margaret B. Evans of West Park and formerly of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, a retired employee for the New York Telephone Company for 35 years and resident of the area since 1982, died June 13, 1998 in Benedictine Hospital, Kingston. She was 91. The daughter of the late Christopher and Anne Callen Finley, she was born May 10, 1907, in Brooklyn. She was a member of the Pioneers of America Telephone Employees Club; St. Joseph's Church in New Paltz for 16 years; the New Paltz-Gardiner Senior Citizens; and the A.A.R.P. She was the widow of William Evans. Survivors include seven nieces, Jane Van Leuvan and Mary Thompson of New Paltz, Anna Laudicina, Anna Marie Fitzpatrick, Loretta Matthews, and Lynda Bruno, all of Brooklyn, and Patricia Morrow of Silver Springs, Md.; two nephews, Richard Thompson of New Paltz and Jack Fitzpatrick of Brooklyn; five grandnieces and four grandnephews; three great-grandnieces and six great-grandnephews. She was predeceased by five sisters and five brothers. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Joseph's Parish Center, St. Joseph's Church, New Paltz, N.Y.
