The death of Mrs. Cora Finch Dale, wife of Mr. Eugene Dale, a well known resident of Keyser Valley occurred yesterday morning at 4 o'clock after an illness lasting only a few weeks. The announcement of her demise was received by her many friends with great surprise, as it was not generally known that she had been ill.
Few women were better known or more highly talented than deceased who possessed many praiseworthy characteristics and a legion of loyal friends. She was a native of the West Side where she had spent her whole life. She was the daughter of Mr. John Finch, still residing on Chestnut street and was born in June 26, 1864. Her husband and two children, Matthew Dale, aged 8 years and Katherine Dale, aged 5 years, survive her. Mrs. Dale was a member of the Simpson M.E. church.
The funeral services will take place at the residence 616 South Keyser avenue tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Forest Hill cemetery.
