LaHarpe, IL, July 25 — Rex Elmer Finch, 48, well known Terre Haute farmer, died of a heart attack in Mary Davier hospital Friday morning at 11:35 after a very few hours illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Terre Haute Methodist church Monday afternoon at 2 with the Rev. Edward E. Millhouse officiating. Burial will be in the Terre Haute cemetery.
Rex Finch was born Dec. 1, 1910, in Terre Haute township, the son of Samuel and Mary True Cassingham Finch. He attended Terre Haute High school and was married to Mabel Ogren on Aug. 1, 1940, in Burlington, Ia.
Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Smith, La Harpe; two brothers, William Finch, of Denver, Col., and Donald Finch of Illiopolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Morgan, Loveland, Col., and Mrs. Louise Spears, Chicago. One sister, Irene, is deceased.
