Mae (Fillingim) D'Angelo, of Quincy, passed away Jan. 3, 2012. Beautiful wife of Russell DAngelo of Quincy of 68 years. Beautiful mother of Russell M. D'Angelo Jr. of Flanders, NJ, Richard A. D'Angelo of Hull and the late Donnamae Roby. Beautiful grandmother of eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sister of the late William Fillingim, Helen Fillingim, and Doris Horner. Mae was a former traffic supervisor for the City of Quincy for 27 years retiring in 1988. She was an avid Red Sox Fan and was a former member of both Wollaston and Squantum Yacht Clubs. Mae also worked as a beautiful hostess at the Red Parrot Restaurant in Hull. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Saturday prior to the funeral Mass in St. Anns Church, Quincy at 10 a.m. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in memory of Mae may be made to the Jimmy Fund Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
