Caroline A. Fike, 61, of Springdale Township, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at her home, after being ill the past four months. She was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Harrison Township, daughter of the late Zigmund and Wilma (Durci) Wachowski. She lived the past 20 years in Springdale Township, prior to which she resided in Natrona. She was the head cook at Highlands Senior High School for 24 years, retiring in 2005. She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. A 1965 graduate of Har Brack High School, she enjoyed cooking, her children and her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 20 years as of Nov. 19, 2008, William J. Fike; daughters, Yvette M. Kotchey, of Winfield Township, and Tasha A. Thomas, of Natrona Heights; grandchildren, David E. Kotchey III, Jessica M. Kotchey and Robert J. Kotchey, all of Winfield Township, and Hillary Joy Thomas and Camden C. Thomas, both of Natrona Heights; nine stepchildren; and 22 stepgrandchildren. Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME, Tarentum. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights, by the Rev. William P. Siple, Parochial Vicar. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
