15 Apr 2007: Anna E. Fies, 98, Lebanon, died Friday, April 13, 2007, in her home. She was born June 29, 1908, in Greenpoint, a daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Kleiser Nye. She was a member of God's Missionary Church and Retired Steelworkers. Surviving are son Arthur G. Fies of Ontario, CA; sisters Alice Nye of Lebanon; granddaughters Ruth Ellen Fies, Barbara Anne Fies and Nancy Lynn Fees; and three great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by husband George K. Fies March 1, 1987; step-children Harry C. Fies, Victor Fies and Margaret Hemmig; and sisters Gertrude Darcas, Jennie Reichard, Elizabeth Kline and Mildred Nye. Service Wednesday, April 18, at Christman's Funeral Home, Lebanon.
