Elodia "Gloria" Candelaria, age 67, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, went to meet her Savior on Saturday, November 15, 2008.
Gloria is survived by her children, José Candelaria and his wife, Judy, Anna Padilla and her husband, Anthony and Marty Candelaria and his wife, Peggy, grandchildren, Jacob, Analise, Alexis, Julianna and Jerome Candelaria and Anthonette and Daniel Padilla, four great-grandchildren, brother, Jesús Fierro and his wife, Barbara and numerous extended family members and friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Candelaria, sons, Melquiades Candelaria and Rodney Candelaria, her parents, José and Mary V. Fierro and siblings, Anita Durán and Armando Fierro.
Gloria was a longtime active member of the San José Community.
Gloria was a beloved wife and loving mother and grandmother.
A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at San José Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE, Albuquerque, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at San José Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San José de Armijo Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM.
