Civil War Vet
Warrington Fields volunteered twice for the Civil War. The first time was in 1861; he was in the Army as a Private in Artillary Regiment 14, Company D,New Jersey.The second time was in 1863;he was in Regiment 56, Company H, New York as a Private in the National Guard Artillary Section protecting the Northern Borders. Both service years are listed in the National Archives Catalog.
