She was born Aug. 1, 1904, in Hardin, Mo., the daughter of Edward and Ella Penny Wall.
She lived most of her life in Charleston, and was a graduate of Central Methodist College in Fayette. She was a member of the United Methodist Church here, the church chior, the HV chapter of PEO, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Katherine Boone Music Club.
On Jan. 11, 1929, she married H.D. Ficklin. He preceded her in death Sept. 26, 1966. Two brothers also preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters, Charmian Boyle, Charlotte Murray and Marjorie Cervantes; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday at United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.
