Carl William Few, Jr., 61, of Pensacola, Florida died on June 30, 2013.

Carl was born on August 28, 1951 in Pensacola to parents, Carl Few, Sr. and Carolyn Few. He retired from the Escambia County Road Department where he was a heavy equipment operator for 38 years. Carl loved baseball, fishing, hunting, all other sports and especially spending time with his family. In 1970, Carl graduated from Escambia high School and was awarded a baseball scholarship to Chipola Junior College as a pitcher.

Carl William Few, Jr. is survived by his wife of 29 years, Connie Few and their three sons, Shaun, Chad and Devon Few and his oldest son, Timothy and wife, Rhonda. He also leaves behind his parents, Carl, Sr. and Carolyn; three brothers, Richard, Joseph and Edward Few; sister, Cherrie Jordan and husband Layne; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carl has chosen to be cremated with a memorial service to be held at Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church at 1030 N. 57th Avenue in Pensacola on Saturday, July 6 at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation for the family and friends at 9:30 a.m. The service will be officiated by Reverend Riley Richardson.

Flowers can be sent to Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church and any donations made in lieu of flowers can be made in Carl's name to the American Heart Association or Myrtle United Methodist Church. We will miss you Carl-our beloved husband, father, son and brother.
