PARADISE, CALIFORNIA - Ray Blaine Ferrin, 86, died Sunday, March 17, 2002 in Paradise, CA, of causes incident to age.

He was born December 11, 1915 in Burley, Idaho, a son of Elmer E. and Sara L. Nelson Ferrin.

Ray married Dorothy M. Russell. They were later divorced. He married Mary Evelyn Nichols. They were later divorced. In November of 1968, Ray married Virginia Mae Moss in Salt Lake City. Virginia preceded him in death on December 22, 1978.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ray enjoyed singing throughout his life.

Surviving are his step-sons, Barry D. Broome, Atlanta, Georgia; Kenneth W. Broome, West Jordan; Jerry L. Broome, Lexington, Kentucky; and two brothers, Gene Ferrin, Paradise, CA.; and Dean Ferrin, LaMesa, CA.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.
