Services for Mrs. Margaret Ferrand Claunch, age 83 of Columbia, La., were held Friday, June 23, 1989 at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia, La. with Rev. Mike Manning and Dr. W. M. Causey officiating. Interment followed at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mrs. Claunch died Wednesday, June 21 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia Heights after a long illness.
Survivor include two sons, Billy Ray Claunch of Grayson and Robert "Bob" Claunch of Columbia; a daughter, Mrs. Elaine Russell of Kelly, La.; a brother, Mr. Willie Ferrand of Clarks, La.; a sister, Mrs. Jewel Osborn of West Monroe, La.; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Richard Claunch, Dale Claunch, Richard Russell, Danny Russell, Gary Claunch, Roger Claunch, Mike Claunch and Randy Claunch.
