Roy Lee Ferguson, Jr., "June Bug", 58, of Charlottesville, VA departed this life on Tuesday January 17, 2006 at his home. He was born October 2, 1947, in Charlottesville, VA. The son of the late Roy Lee and Maxine T. Ferguson Sr.
He was preceded in death by three brothers Ed Lee Ferguson, Mann Ferguson, and Ricky Ferguson., and one sister Emma Ferguson.
He was a self employed custodian at Hair Doctors, Mel's Café, and other businesses on West Main Street. He attended Burley High School. He was very friendly, lovable, and well known. He loved to sing, fish, play golf, and often caddied at Farmington.
He leaves to cherish two brothers Monte Carlo Ferguson of Charlottesville, VA and George Sherman Ferguson of Palmyra, VA.; Two sisters Rosa Lee Ferguson of Charlottesville, and Matilda Ann Ferguson of Palmyra, VA.; One sister-in-law Sharon Ferguson of Palmyra, VA.; A special nephew Charles Stinnie of Charlottesville, and a numbers of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at J.F. Bell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John T. Spears officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
