Services for Gladys Wills Fergus, 81, of Killeen will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Trimmier with the Rev. Weldon Hicks officiating.
The body will be cremated.
Mrs. Fergus died Jan. 7, 2005, at a Harker Heights nursing home.
She was born June 29, 1923, in Killeen to John C. and Ida Wells. She graduated from the Avenue D School and married Max Fergus in August 1946.
Mrs. Fergus earned her bachelor's degree in accounting with a minor in English from Pepperdine University.
She moved to Abilene in 1959 where she and her husband set up a Volkswagen dealership. While in Abilene, Mrs. Fergus was active with the Abilene Boys Ranch, the Abilene Woman?s Club, the Abilene Philharmonic Guild and the Abilene Country Club. She also volunteered with the local United Way.
Mrs. Fergus was a member of the University Church of Christ in Abilene.
The couple returned to Killeen in 1993.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Mark V. Fergus of Spring, Kenneth W. Fergus of Rineyville, Ky., and David L. Fergus of Killeen; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Inez Nelson and Marie Lee.
