Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She taught Sunday School, led Youth Groups, and was a volunteer at Community Kitchen, the Red Cross, and other charities. She was a gifted quilter, housewife and mentor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dennis Bishop, in 1988.
She is survived by her daughter, Gayle (Howard) Mayne; son, Dr. Gary (Marcia) Bishop, as well as grandchildren Anita (John) Morrison, Lisa (Michael) Brown, and Nathaniel (Theresa) Bishop, and great-grandchildren Elizabeth Morrison, Jessica Morrison, Mitchell Brown, Matthew Brown, Mason Brown, and Zachary Bishop.
Her family friends and church family rejoice in her earthly life and eternal life in Heaven.
Viewing will be at McDoel Baptist Church at 12-3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, with funeral services at 3 p.m. Rev. Harold Carter will preside. Graveside services will be on Saturday in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Bardwell, Ky.
