Mrs. Nancy Feltner, 79, died Sunday, July 15, after a long illness at her home at Naomi.

The daughter of McCager and Emaline Smith Grigsby, she was born in Perry County April 10, 1883. She was married February 14, 1901 to Lewis Feltner. To this union five children were born. One son, Willie Feltner, preceded her in death June 5, 1955.

Mrs. Feltner moved to Naomi nineteen years ago. She had been a member of the Primitive Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors included her husband and the following children, Harley Feltner, Naomi, Mrs. Elizabeth Gayhart, Washingtonville, N.Y., Mrs. Gladys Caudill, Elkhorn City, Ky., Joe C. Feltner, Lenoir City, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Haddix, Science Hill, and Miss Eliza Grigsby, Bulan, Ky.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the residence in Naomi with the Rev. Ode Smith officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Farris-Morris-Hislope Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
