Verle Marie Felt Archibald, 70, of Orem, died Tuesday, May 1, 1990 at East Lake Care Center in Provo, Utah.
She was born August 29, 1919 in Wapello, Idaho, a daughter of John Henry and Mabel Wood Felt.
She married Blair W. Archibald on August 28, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She grew up and raised her family in Idaho. She moved to Orem in December 1982 after her husband retired.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as Relief Society president, Ward and Stake Relief Society teacher and board member, Primary Stake board member. She was very active in music as a choir member, ward organist, and she sang in many vocal ensembles.
She is survived by her husband, Orem; six sons, Alan, Elden, and Douglas Archibald, all of Blackfoot, Idaho; David Archibald, Idaho Falls, Idaho; John and Richard Archibald, both of Orem; twenty-four grandchildren; two sisters, Beyrle Esplin, Denver, Colorado; Maurine Bills, Salt Lake City; three brothers, Elden Felt, Blackfoot, Idaho; Jay Felt, Spokane, Washington; Lowell Felt, Lancaster, California.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 1990 at 1:00 p.m. in the Orem Rivergrove Ward Chapel, 1120 East 600 North, Orem. Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, and Saturday one hour prior to the services at the Church.
Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
